Intuition

Intuition:
to draw on everything you know
in the present moment.
And face it, what each of us knows
is everything.
In a sudden concentration
a cohesion
there appears to me a vision.
It is easy to miss.
No fanfare accompaniment,
no music of the spheres,
no starry glow,
very real, very simple,
beyond yes and no.
Just I know what I know.

Ah wise woman,
mysterious woman,
inscrutable woman.
I have labored long
and given birth.
I have walked in wild places
and every little agony
has offered up a certain grace.
In this trembling hour
I am all that I have ever been,
all that I have ever seen,
alll seed, all dirt, all flower.
