Joy

[Rootsie]

Everyone is unhappy,
even those who have achieved through their integrity
a certain kind of joy
through reconcilement
with suffering.

What we do not see
is that we are being pulled
through our  evolution
back to the source.
We do not know
that we are receiving help.
We believe ourselves alone.
When we wake and feel refreshed
we do not know what animates  our limbs.
When we feel a sudden sweetness of understanding
we do not know
what makes this so.

There is only one happiness,
one bliss which never ends.
Once we know this we begin to shift,
letting go the ignorance of lifetimes,
just running as fast as we can
home. It is matter that suffers.
In essence, there is no such thing.
